AIRCRAFT FAILED AND WOULD NOT RESET. THE PROBLEM WAS FOUND TO BE
CHAFED WIRING AT THE DISCHARGE TUBE FOR THE NUMBER ONE (1) ENGINE
FIRE EXTINGUISHER FROM THE AFT BOTTLE.
B. FOR MANPOWER/DOWNTIME AND FUNDING IMPACTS SEE PARA 12.
C. THE PURPOSE OF THIS MESSAGE IS TO REQUIRE A ONE-TIME
INSPECTION OF THE GENERATOR WIRE HARNESS AND TO REMOVE ANY EXISTING
CHAFING PROBLEM.
