             69-17110, Boeing build number B-625, was a CH-47C helicopter. The U.S. Army acceptance date was 30 April 1970. 69-17110 accumulated 3,350.0 aircraft hours.

   In May 1970, 69-17110 was assigned the New Cumberland Army Depot (NCAD), near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, for maintenance.

   In June 1970, 69-17110 was assigned to the 166th Transportation Company while in transit to the Republic of Vietnam.

   In July 1970, 69-17110 was assigned the C Company - "Platex" (later on "Haulmark"), 159th Assault Support Helicopter Battalion (ASHB), 101st Airborne Division, in the Republic of Vietnam.

   On 23 July 1970, 69-17110 received enemy fire.

   While in Pick Up Zone (PZ) and hovering at 10 feet, 69-17110 took one hit from small arms/automatic weapons (gun launched non-explosive ballistic projectiles less than 20 mm in size. 69-17110 was hit in the bottom. The fuel system was damaged and one person was wounded in action (WIA), name unknown. 69-17110 continued flight but diverted prior to accomplishing any mission objectives.

   In In November 1971, 69-17110 was assigned to B Company, 159th ASHB.

   In January 1972, 69-17110 was assigned to the 68th Assault Support Helicopter Company (ASHC) in the Republic of Vietnam.

   In February 1972, 69-17110 was assigned to the 362nd Assault Support Helicopter Company in the Republic of Vietnam.

   On 5 June 1972, 69-17110 was involved in an accident.

   69-17110 was landing from a hover when a 1/8 inch of plywood, 36 x 24 inches, flew into the rotor system from a grassy area and struck a foward blade 10 inches from the end. The cost of repair was 11,400 USD. (This accident was attributed to the 180th ASHC)

   In July 1972, 69-17110 was assigned to the 180th Assault Support Helicopter Company - "Big Windy", in the Republic of Vietnam.

   In September 1973, 69-17110 was assigned to the 147th Assault Support Helicopter Company - "Hillclimbers", located at Barbers Point Naval Air Station, on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii, through at least October 1975.

   On 16 August 1975, while assigned to the Hillclimbers, 69-17110 suffered a Class E accident.

   With the number two engine in ground and while at a hover and performing a maximum power vibration check at 215 rotor RPM, the aircraft began to descend. The engine exhaust gas temperature (EGT) dropped to 300 degrees. A hovering autorotation was performed and no damage to the aircraft was incurred. This was caused by the main fuel line female portion of the quick disconnect separating from the male portion at the number one engine quick disconnect shelf. The fuel line quick disconnect was discovered to be faulty.

   At some point, 69-17110 was assigned to C Company - "Sugar Bears North", 228th Aviation Regiment, 222nd Aviation Battalion in Alaska through February 1991.

   On 2 April 1991, 69-17110 was inducted into the D model program and converted to 91-00246.

   The last known location of 69-17110 was at Boeing during the conversion.
