             74-22271, Boeing build number B-690, was a CH-47C helicopter. The U.S. Army acceptance date was 30 January 1975. 74-22271 accumulated 2,717.0 aircraft hours. At some point, 74-22271 was assigned to B Company - "Innkeepers", 2nd Battalion, 501st Aviation Regiment, located at Camp Humphrey, in the Republic of Korea (ROK) (South Korea). B Company was the former 271st Assault Support Helicopter Company (ASHC). When the United States involvement in the Vietnam conflict ended in the mid 1970's, the 271st ASHC was relocated to Korea and re-designated B Company on an unknown date. The 501st Aviation Regiment was re-designated the 52nd Aviation Regiment on an unknown date. As of 28 September 2001, B Company, and the sister unit A Company - "Blackcats", were both located at Camp Humphrey, ROK. A Company was the former 213th ASHC. 74-22271 remained assigned to B Company through approximately October 1989. On 7 December 1989, 74-22271 was inducted into the D model program and converted to 90-00181. The last known location of 74-22271 was at Boeing during the conversion.
