The CH-47 Nose Compartment

 

         

 

             With the vibration absorber removed for inspection, one can easily see the components mounted in the nose compartment of the CH-47D Chinook helicopter. Visible is the parking brake assembly, brake transfer valves, and the windshield anti-icing relays.

 

 

          The CH-47 - 40 years old and still circling the world.
