On 14 November 1990, 90-00225 was inducted into the D model program, converted, and initially scheduled for assignment to the Washington Army Reserve on or about 10 October 1991. As of 1 January 2002, this aircraft was 29.5 years old. At some point 90-00225 was assined to Company A, 5th Battallion, 159th Aviation Regiment, 244th Aviation Brigade, US Army Reserve, located at Gray Army Airfield in the State of Washington. At some point, 90-00225 deployed to Southwest Asia, attached to the 12th Aviation Task Force, to support Operation Iraqi Freedom, servig at the 35th Brigade Base, Kuwait; Tallil Airbase, Iraq; and Balad Airbase, Iraq. As of 7 March 2004, the last known location of 90-00225 was in Iraq, assigned to Company A - "Hook-ers", 5th Battalion, 159th Aviation Regiment, Washington Army Reserve (WAR).
